The Funeral

Today is a very sad day. We're on our way to Muar, for XiaoJiu's funeral. Maybe Yueming knows, so he's been very 'guai' throughout the whole journey.

Here's Yueming, trying to grab the Tigger Hp Strap I got. Btw, all photos shown here are taken using my handphone. My digital camera was with Sihui.

Xiao Jiu's body arrived at the casket later in the evening. We all went there after resting at Da Jiu's place. Here's the Shi Fu, who's writing Xiao Jiu's details, for Buddhist ritual later on.

Good friends' of Xiao Jiu came. They're our old neighbours actually. Grew up together sorta thing. They are very close to Xiao Jiu, compared to us. Xiao Jiu told them a lot of things.

Da Jiu's doggy, called Sleepy. She's very cute & pretty hor.

When I went near her to take photo, she tried to grab my handphone!

Here's the rubbish illustration, that the news people came out with, about the incident. Pui! :P

After a night's rest, we set off to the casket again in the morning.

The younger ones were burning paper money throughout the night & going on till we send him off.

Hanging around the casket.

Need I say more? *sniffs*

We were all chanting prayers & burning paper money for Xiao Jiu by the side.

The alter. We gotta keep the white candles & the main joss-sticks burning throughout the night & day, till we send him off.

Ritual before sending him off.

The last look, before the coffin's closed.

At this point, everyone started to get very emotional. Wept & Cried. :'(

Sending Xiao Jiu 'shang lu'.

Softly crying away...

The walking was quite short, as we reached the main road soon.

At the incinerator, where the Buddhist ritual was held one last time. We all saw the coffin, entering the incinerator... :'( I've taken more photos with Mom's camera. Not developed yet. Will upload once developed & scanned. Or is it not wise to post it up? Let me know.

After that, we went to the Shi Fu's place, ritual once again. & That's tat. Went to nearby coffeeshop for a tea break & went back to Wai Gong, Wai Po's place. Now, for more happier moments - Peiqi!

Peiqi got thinner! Nonetheless, still likes to take photo!

Not losing out to his sister, Jacky!

& Not forgetting Yueming...

...& Mom! While Yueming happily struggles to grab my hp's Tigger, Mom squeaked in fear! Hahahaha...

One more pose!

Jacky also wants a victory sign!

Last but not least, Wai Gong with Yueming. Aww....

Xiao Jiu, hao zuo le. Let me know if there's any issues posting the funeral photos. ;) They're actually meant for those who are unable to attend, especially Uncle Mike.
